SUMMARY:Cumberland Winds Flute Recital
DESCRIPTION:There will be a Cumberland Winds Flute Recital on Saturday\, the 30th of July\, 2022\, at 5 pm\, located at Trinity Episcopal Church\, 317 Franklin Street. \n  \nTamara Deichert\, who received her masters degree from APSU\, has been a longtime member of the Cumberland Winds.  Recently\, she received a full fellowship for doctoral work at Ball State University in Indiana and members of the Cumberland Winds will participate in an exciting farewell recital. It will be a flute extravaganza of virtuoso duos and trios in a variety of styles\, from fife and drum\, through opera\, folk songs\, and jazz. Performing with Tamara will be flutists Yvonne Kendall and Anne Friend; Bobbie Textor\, piano; and Jerry Textor\, percussion. \n  \nThe Recital is free and open to the public. (Donations accepted).
