Cumberland Winds Flute Recital

There will be a Cumberland Winds Flute Recital on Saturday, the 30th of July, 2022, at 5 pm, located at Trinity Episcopal Church, 317 Franklin Street.
Tamara Deichert, who received her masters degree from APSU, has been a longtime member of the Cumberland Winds. Recently, she received a full fellowship for doctoral work at Ball State University in Indiana and members of the Cumberland Winds will participate in an exciting farewell recital. It will be a flute extravaganza of virtuoso duos and trios in a variety of styles, from fife and drum, through opera, folk songs, and jazz. Performing with Tamara will be flutists Yvonne Kendall and Anne Friend; Bobbie Textor, piano; and Jerry Textor, percussion.
The Recital is free and open to the public. (Donations accepted).
