The next Cumberland Winds concert is on the 9th of June, 7:30 pm, located at the First Baptist Church, Fellowship Hall. We are so very excited to announce that we will feature Bobbie Textor performing Mozart’s Piano Sonata No. 16 in C Major. The band accompaniment is based on Edvard Grieg’s arrangement of this sonata for two pianos. In addition to marches, small ensembles, and film score music, we will perform a transcription of the 3rd movement from Brahms’ Symphony No. 3 in F Major. To finish out the evening, we will feature Guy Machel performing traditional bagpipe music with band accompaniment.
